About Fusion Affairs
Fusion Affairs is a boutique public affairs firm working at the intersection of frontier technology and policy. We advise companies, investors, and institutions building in fusion energy, space, and adjacent deep-tech sectors, helping them navigate the political and regulatory environment that determines whether their technology reaches commercial scale.
We work with government entities, national laboratories, and private investors, and we build partnerships across the U.S. research system. We are a small team, which means the work is varied and the person doing it is close to the substance.
Position overview
We do not always have a specific role posted, but we are always interested in hearing from people who want to work on this. If you are early in your career and drawn to the policy side of fusion, space, or deep tech, we encourage you to apply through this general application.
Interns at Fusion Affairs work directly on live client engagements. Depending on background and interest, that can include policy and regulatory research, stakeholder mapping and analysis, and contributing to the firm's own writing and public presence.
What to send
A resume and a short cover letter telling us why this work interests you and what you would want to work on. If you have written anything, a paper, an article, a memo, send it. We read it.
